Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
A thirty-five-year-old man in a green bodysuit who believes he's a fairy reincarnation — Hyrule's most disturbing NPC and the reason 'Kooloo-Limpah' haunts your nightmares.
Tingle is the kind of NPC that makes you question the game designers' intentions. He is a thirty-five-year-old man who genuinely believes he is the reincarnation of a forest fairy, dresses accordingly, and floats on a balloon making maps while chanting 'Tingle, Tingle! Kooloo-Limpah!' His father runs the Swamp Tourist Center and is visibly exasperated by his son's life choices. In Wind Waker, he's imprisoned on Windfall Island for stealing a Picto Box, runs an island with 'brothers' who are actually unrelated men he's forced into servitude, and charges 398 Rupees per Triforce Chart translation — one of gaming's most infamous money sinks. He got his own spin-off game series in Japan. He is beloved and horrifying in equal measure.
Thirty-five-year-old man wearing a green full-body suit mimicking Kokiri clothing, red underwear on the outside, a pointy hat, and floating from a red balloon while drawing maps. Short and rotund.
