Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
A lonely forest imp who stole a mask that ate his mind — the tragedy of Majora's Mask is that the villain was just a child who missed his friends.
Skull Kid was a lonely child of the Lost Woods who befriended the Four Giants before they departed to guard Termina's four compass points. Their departure felt like abandonment. When he stole Majora's Mask from the Happy Mask Salesman, the artifact amplified his feelings of abandonment into world-ending rage — pulling the Moon down toward Termina, cursing the four regions, and turning Link into a Deku Scrub. But beneath the mask's corruption, Skull Kid is still just a child who wants his friends back. After Link defeats Majora and frees the Four Giants, Skull Kid recognizes Link — from the Lost Woods in Ocarina of Time, where they played Saria's Song together. The cycle closes. The friends reunite. Lore says that children who become lost in the Lost Woods turn into Skull Kids. Adults become Stalfos.
Small impish figure with a pointed straw hat, orange-red glowing eyes, and a wooden body. When wearing Majora's Mask, the artifact dominates his appearance — pulsing with malevolent energy that seems to control him more than he controls it.
