Sheikah

Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo

The shadow folk who built Hyrule's most advanced technology ten thousand years before it needed it — servants of the Royal Family whose history includes both guardians and traitors.

The Sheikah are Hyrule's most complex faction. They built the Guardians, the Divine Beasts, the Shrines, and the Sheikah Slate — technology so advanced it functions better than anything built since. They served the Royal Family as protectors, spies, and warriors across every era. But they also fractured. The Yiga Clan are Sheikah who turned against the crown and serve Ganondorf. This split — between loyalty and betrayal, protection and destruction — mirrors the Sheikah's own technology, which was built to defend Hyrule but was corrupted by Calamity Ganon into its greatest weapon.

Appearance

Hylian-like with distinctive white/silver hair and red eyes. Their symbol — an open eye with a teardrop — appears on everything they build, from shrines to Guardians to the Sheikah Slate. Their technology aesthetic blends ancient mysticism with sci-fi functionality.
