He is passionate about Guardian research to the point of volatility, created Ancient Arrows after decades of work, and named his Ancient Oven 'Cherry' after his first love, which enrages his actual wife Jerrin every time it comes up. He was strategically separated from Purah after the Calamity — if one lab fell, the other would preserve their research. In TotK, he heads Purah Pad development.
