Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
A twelve-year-old Gerudo chief who inherited a Thunder Helm too big for her head and a responsibility too big for her years — and rose to meet both.
Riju projects the maturity of a leader three times her age while keeping sand-seal plushies in her bedroom. She inherited the Gerudo throne after her mother's death and spends private moments asking Urbosa's spirit if she'll ever measure up. The Thunder Helm doesn't fit. The throne requires a booster cushion. None of it stops her. She recognized Link by his Sheikah Slate on first meeting — sharp enough to notice details that others miss. In TotK she's grown more confident, leading her people through a sandstorm crisis and awakening as the Sage of Lightning with twin-sword electricity attacks that honor Urbosa's Fury. She calls Link a 'true friend of the Gerudo,' which in a matriarchal warrior culture is about the highest compliment a voe can receive.
Notably short for a Gerudo. Tanned skin, green eyes, navy-blue lips, scarlet-red hair in a long braid (BotW) or Cleopatra bob (TotK). Blue and black armor with gold ornaments, dark blue high heels. The Thunder Helm slides forward on her because it's too large.
