Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
A construct of Gloom made from Ganondorf's flesh — the puppet he used to impersonate Zelda and mask her disappearance while the real threat gathered strength in the dark.
Phantom Ganon is Ganondorf's preferred proxy — a construct created from his own flesh and blood, under direct magical control, that serves as scout, saboteur, and impersonator. Its most devastating use was disguising itself as Princess Zelda during TotK's Upheaval, manipulating events (including brainwashing Yunobo with a mask) while the real Zelda was lost in the ancient past. The same tactic was used millennia earlier to distract Queen Sonia while Ganondorf assassinated her from behind. Phantom Ganon is the knife in the dark that the Demon King uses when direct assault would alert his enemies too soon.
Resembles Ganondorf's mummified corpse form but made of Gloom. Grotesque, undead-like entity of dark energy. Can shift appearance to mimic Princess Zelda convincingly enough to fool allies.
