Mineru

Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo

The last Zonai — a scholar-sage who projected her spirit across millennia to guide Link, built construct technology to fight a war she couldn't survive, and finally let go when her work was done.

Mineru thinks in constructs and equations and deep, patient timescales. She was the greatest Zonai technological mind — the one who built the construct technology that would outlast civilizations — and she neglected her own physical health so thoroughly in pursuit of research that her colleagues worried about her. She is Rauru's older sister, and their dynamic is the warm bickering of siblings who love each other across cosmic distances. After Ganondorf's betrayal and Rauru's sacrifice, Mineru separated her spirit from her dying body and inhabited the Purah Pad, waiting millennia for Link to rebuild her construct body at the Spirit Temple. She expresses 'deep remorse for everything the Zonai caused' — an acknowledgment that her people's technology and the power vacuum they left behind contributed to the cycle of destruction. When Link and Zelda's victory was complete, she accepted that her role was finished and moved on, finding Rauru at last.
