Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The ranch girl who taught Link a song, tamed Hyrule's fastest horse, and called a hero 'Fairy Boy' before anyone knew he was one.
Malon lives at Lon Lon Ranch with her lazy father Talon and the ambitious ranch hand Ingo. She calls Link 'Fairy Boy' from their first meeting outside Hyrule Castle walls at night, and teaches him Epona's Song — the melody that bonds Link with the horse who will carry him across Hyrule Field for the rest of the game. When Ganondorf takes Hyrule and Ingo seizes the ranch, Malon stays. Not because she can't leave but because she won't abandon the animals. She is brave in the quiet way that doesn't make headlines but keeps the world turning.
Red hair, white dress with a neckerchief. As a child: bright and cheerful farm girl. As an adult: the same warmth, weathered by seven years of enduring Ingo's tyranny to protect her animals.
