The hidden narrative thread running through Kass's songs is his teacher's unrequited love story — a quiet, tragic subplot woven into the game's exploration. Kass himself is devoted to his wife Amali and their five daughters, and is 'incredibly homesick' but cannot return until his promise is fulfilled.
