Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The four fountain-dwelling giants who upgrade Link's armor in exchange for materials and rupees — each emergence from their flower bud more dramatic than the last.
The Great Fairies are among Hyrule's oldest magical beings, residing in fountains scattered across the kingdom. In BotW, four Great Fairies — Cotera, Mija, Kaysa, and Tera — each require increasing rupee donations to awaken, then upgrade Link's armor using monster parts and materials. Each subsequent fairy enhances upgrade capability, and their increasingly flirtatious reactions to Link are a running gag that escalates from playful to borderline alarming. They are essential for late-game armor optimization and provide the only way to reach maximum armor ratings.
Enormous humanoid women living inside flower-bud fountains. Glamorous, colorful, and deliberately over-the-top in their visual design. Each Great Fairy's emergence involves increasing theatrical flair — the fourth one's entrance is practically a musical number.
