Character from The Legend of Zelda by Nintendo
The Demon King's hatred given form — a grotesque fusion of Ganondorf's malice, Guardian machinery, and ten thousand years of festering rage sealed inside Hyrule Castle.
Calamity Ganon is not Ganondorf himself but his hatred made manifest — a distinction the games draw explicitly. It is rage without strategy, destruction without ambition, a force that corrupted the Guardians, possessed the Divine Beasts through Blight Ganons, killed the Champions, and nearly destroyed Hyrule in a single catastrophic night. Zelda sealed it inside Hyrule Castle for a hundred years through sustained willpower, but it never stopped trying to break free. If Link frees all four Divine Beasts before the final battle, their lasers strip half its health — the Champions getting their posthumous revenge.
A massive scorpion-like abomination with spider legs, a disproportionate head combining Ganondorf's features with Malice corruption and stolen Guardian parts. Fires Guardian lasers from mandible-like implements. Its incomplete second form, Dark Beast Ganon, is a gigantic boar wreathed in Malice.
