Nora was a Firefly medic present at St. Mary's Hospital and later a WLF member who participated in Joel's killing. Ellie tracked her to a hospital in Seattle and, when Nora refused to give up Abby's location, Ellie beat her with a pipe in a spore-filled basement. The game doesn't show the full extent — it cuts to Ellie shaking afterward, covered in blood, unable to look at Dina. Nora's death is the first time Ellie commits an act of violence she can't justify to herself. It's the crack in the revenge quest.
