Dina is Ellie's romantic partner in Part II — a Jackson community member, fellow patrol rider, and the emotional anchor that Ellie keeps cutting loose. She is funny, capable, and genuine in a way that makes Ellie's walls come down. She followed Ellie to Seattle out of love and nearly died for it. She built a life with Ellie at the Farm — a home, a baby (JJ, fathered by Jesse), and a semblance of peace. When Ellie left for Santa Barbara to pursue Abby one final time, Dina couldn't follow. The empty farmhouse at the end of Part II is her absence made architectural. She is the series' clearest representation of what's at stake: not the cure, not revenge, but the ability to build something worth living for.
Athletic and beautiful with dark curly hair, brown eyes, and a warm, open expression. She wears Jackson patrol gear and moves with the confident ease of someone who has been surviving competently for years. She is visibly pregnant during much of Part II.
