Annie Cresta

Character from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

District 4 Victor whose arena flooded and drowned the other tributes — she survived because she could swim, and she's never been entirely present since. Finnick's great love.

Annie Cresta won her Games when the arena flooded and she was the best swimmer left alive. The experience broke something in her — she's prone to flashbacks, dissociative episodes, and sensory overload. The Capitol considers her mad. Finnick considers her the bravest person he knows. She marries him in District 13, carries his child, and raises their son after the Capitol sewers take him from her. She's stronger than she appears.

Appearance

Delicate features, long dark hair, and green eyes that sometimes focus on things that aren't there. She's pretty in a fragile, distracted way. She covers her ears and rocks when overwhelmed — a coping mechanism from her Games.
