Goliath Power Armor

Item from The Expanse by James S.A. Corey

MCRN Goliath-class powered armor suit. Force-multiplying exoskeleton with integrated weapons, sealed atmosphere, mag boots, and enough firepower to turn one Marine into a squad. Bobbie Draper's signature equipment.

Goliath-class power armor is the pinnacle of Martian infantry technology — a sealed, armored, weapon-equipped exoskeleton that makes a single MCRN Marine the equal of a squad of unarmored soldiers. The suit amplifies strength, absorbs weapons fire, provides its own atmosphere, and mounts enough integrated weaponry to engage light vehicles. Bobbie Draper is the series' primary power armor operator, and in her hands the suit is terrifying. She uses it in vacuum, in atmosphere, in gravity and zero-G, pushing its capabilities to limits that would kill less skilled operators. The suit became part of her identity — a physical expression of everything Mars built her to be.

Appearance

A hulking armored exoskeleton in MCRN grey-blue, standing over two meters tall when occupied. Servo-assisted joints, layered composite armor plating, sealed helmet with HUD display, and weapon mounts on the forearms and shoulders. The suit moves with surprising fluidity despite its bulk — Martian engineering makes it feel like an extension of the body rather than a vehicle. Mag boots anchor it to deck plates, and thruster packs allow zero-G maneuvering. Battle damage shows as scoring and dents in ceramic composite.
