A temporary version of Compound V that grants 24-hour superpowers — with the minor side effect of fatal brain lesions if you use it more than a few times.

Temp V is the diet soda of superpowers — same great taste, might kill you. It grants temporary abilities (typically super strength, durability, and one random power like heat vision or teleportation) for approximately 24 hours before wearing off. The catch: repeated use causes progressive brain lesions that are eventually fatal. Three to five doses is the generally accepted limit before the brain damage becomes irreversible. Butcher and Hughie both used Temp V knowing the risks, and Butcher especially pushed well past the safe limit. It represents the show's recurring question: how far will you go to fight gods? The answer, for The Boys, is 'far enough to kill ourselves.'

Appearance

Stored in small green-tinted vials, visually distinct from the blue of standard Compound V. The injector mechanism is compact and designed for field use — pop the cap, inject, and you've got powers for a day.
