Character from The Boys by Eric Kripke
The replacement Black Noir — a new Supe put in the old suit after Homelander killed the original, desperate to prove himself while wearing a dead man's mask.
The new Noir is chatty where the original was silent — he talks too much, tries too hard, and is visibly terrified of Homelander in a way the brain-damaged original never was. He's playing a role he wasn't built for, wearing a dead man's identity, and everyone on the team knows it. Vought replaced Black Noir the way a corporation replaces any asset — same brand, different product. The new Noir is the show's commentary on how Supes are interchangeable to Vought, and how wearing the mask doesn't make you the person who wore it before.
Same matte black tactical suit and featureless mask as the original Black Noir. Physically different underneath — younger, less scarred — but the mask erases all individuality by design. Moves with trained precision but lacks the original's eerie supernatural grace.
