Character from The Boys by Eric Kripke
A racist Supe who patrols Black neighborhoods with excessive force — the show's most explicit metaphor for police brutality, wrapped in a star-spangled costume.
Blue Hawk speaks in the language of 'law and order' — every beating is 'protecting the community,' every death is 'an unfortunate incident.' He's the Supe version of every cop who's ever said 'I feared for my life' while attacking an unarmed person. His violence in A-Train's brother's neighborhood — and his non-apology at the community meeting that turned into a massacre — is the catalyst for A-Train's racial awakening. He's killed by A-Train, who drags him at super-speed until there's nothing left, and his heart becomes A-Train's transplant — a bitter, literal internalization of the man who brutalized his community.
Large and imposing in a blue-and-white patriotic costume with a hawk emblem. Built like a linebacker. His face projects the forced concern of someone performing heroism while committing violence.
