Character from The Black Company by Glen Cook
The Taken who commands weather — lightning and wind are his weapons, and entire armies can drown in storms he whistles up.
Stormbringer controls weather — not metaphorically, literally. He can summon storms, direct lightning, create fog for cover, and drown armies under flash floods. This makes him one of the most devastating Taken on an open battlefield, though his power is less useful in close quarters or political maneuvering. He's one of the Taken who falls during the northern wars, killed in the grinding attrition that reduces the Lady's sorcerous advantage over the course of the conflict.
Dark-robed, windswept even indoors. The air around Stormbringer is never quite still — faint breezes, the scent of ozone, the suggestion of distant thunder. Weather magic leaves residue on its practitioner.
