Centoria is the Underworld's seat of power and its most populated city. The Sword Mastery Academy trains the kingdom's warriors, the noble families jockey for position, and the Axiom Church's presence looms over everything — literally, in the form of the Cathedral, and figuratively, through the Taboo Index that governs every interaction. The city is stratified: nobles live in the upper districts with spacious estates; commoners live in the lower quarters with smaller homes; pages and students occupy the Academy grounds. Social mobility exists in theory (Academy admission) but is practically limited by the class system the Taboo Index reinforces.
A large, well-ordered city of white stone buildings, wide boulevards, and manicured gardens. The architecture is elegant and vaguely European — arched bridges, clock towers, and residential districts organized by social class. The Central Cathedral dominates the skyline, its hundred floors visible from every street. The city is clean, prosperous, and orderly in the way that authoritarian societies tend to be.
