LLENN

Character from Sword Art Online by Reki Kawahara

A tall girl trapped in a tiny pink avatar who became GGO's deadliest close-range fighter — because sometimes the best way to cope with hating your body is to find one you love and arm it with a submachine gun.

LLENN is the protagonist of the Alternative GGO spinoff, and she entered virtual reality specifically because it gave her a body she didn't hate. Her real-world height dysphoria drove her through dozens of random avatar generators until she got the tiny pink avatar, and she threw herself into GGO with the desperate energy of someone who finally feels comfortable in their skin. She is fast, aggressive, and plays with a reckless joy that confuses opponents who expect the tiny pink girl to be cautious. Her combat style is pure aggression — close the distance, spray, move, repeat. She is the happiest character in any SAO-adjacent story because for her, the virtual world isn't a trap or a tool — it's a gift.

Appearance

In GGO, she's extremely small — child-sized — with a pink outfit, pink hat, and pink P90 submachine gun (P-chan). Everything about her screams non-threatening, which is exactly how she gets close enough to kill. In real life (Kohiruimaki Karen), she's unusually tall for a Japanese woman and deeply self-conscious about it.

Also known as: Kohiruimaki Karen, LLENN, Pink Devil
