The Isle of the Ancients is the Ancient Minister's home and the R.O.B. species' civilization. It is a place of advanced technology — the Subspace Bombs were developed here, the R.O.B. units were manufactured here, and the Subspace Army's most sophisticated weapons originated from its research. Tabuu conquered the island and conscripted its inhabitants. The R.O.B.s were forced to build the weapons that would eventually destroy their own home. When Ganondorf ordered the simultaneous detonation of all remaining bombs, the Isle of the Ancients was consumed entirely. It is the only location that is NOT restored after Tabuu's defeat — gone forever, along with nearly every R.O.B. in existence. The Ancient Minister/R.O.B. is the last survivor of a civilization that built the instruments of its own destruction.
A floating island of advanced technology — metal structures, antenna arrays, and research facilities built into rocky terrain. R.O.B. units populate every surface. The architecture blends natural rock with sleek machinery. After the mass detonation, it is simply gone — a void where an island once was.
