Meta Knight's stolen warship — commandeered by the Subspace Army as their mobile headquarters and the war's most fought-over prize.
The Halberd dominates the sky. It appears in the opening cutscene descending through blood-red clouds, and its presence looms over the entire story. Originally Meta Knight's personal warship, it was stolen by the Subspace Army and used to deploy Shadow Bugs, transport troops, and serve as an aerial command post. Retaking the Halberd is one of the campaign's major objectives. Snake infiltrates it. Meta Knight and Lucario fight through its corridors. The bridge battle against Duon is the climax of this arc. When the heroes finally control the ship, they use it as their transport to the Entrance to Subspace — turning the enemy's greatest weapon into their own. The Halberd is eventually destroyed in the approach to Subspace, crashing into a cliff and breaking apart. Meta Knight watches it fall without expression.
A massive flying battleship shaped like a dark bird of prey with swept-back wings. The main cannon (the Combo Cannon) extends from the bow. The hull is dark grey-purple with running lights. The interior features metal corridors, a cargo bay, an engine room, and a command bridge. The bridge has panoramic windows overlooking the battlefield below.
