Character from Smash Bros Brawl: The Subspace Emissary by Nintendo / Masahiro Sakurai
A bounty hunter stripped of her armor and imprisoned — who fights her way back to full power and confronts her oldest enemy inside the Subspace Army's research complex.
Samus enters the Subspace Emissary stripped of her Power Suit — captured, imprisoned in the Subspace Army's Research Facility, reduced to her Zero Suit form. She escapes alongside Pikachu, who she frees from a generator, and the two fight through the facility together. Even without her armor, Samus moves like a soldier. She is precise, efficient, and wastes nothing. Her Paralyzer pistol stuns enemies while she finds angles for kicks and strikes. There is no panic in her movements, only controlled aggression and the patience of someone who knows where her suit is. When she recovers the Power Suit, the transformation is immediate and devastating. The arm cannon comes online, missiles lock, and Samus stops retreating and starts advancing. She faces Ridley — her parents' killer, her lifelong nemesis — inside the facility with the cold focus of someone who has killed this dragon before and will do so again.
In her Power Suit: tall, broad-shouldered, encased in orange-and-yellow Chozo armor with a green visor, massive arm cannon on her right arm, and a silhouette that makes her look more machine than human. Without the suit (Zero Suit): a tall, athletic woman with blonde hair in a ponytail, blue eyes, and a skintight blue bodysuit. The contrast between the two forms is the character — armored fortress versus exposed fighter.
