Ridley is personal for Samus in a way no other Subspace enemy can be. The Space Pirate commander killed her parents when she was a child, and their rivalry has defined both their lives. Finding Ridley inside the Research Facility transforms Samus's escape from a survival mission into a vendetta. Ridley fights with tail stabs, claw swipes, fire breath, and aerial diving attacks. He grabs fighters and drags them along walls. He is fast, aggressive, and relentless — a predator that enjoys the hunt. The battle against him is visceral and claustrophobic inside the facility corridors.
