Pikachu is imprisoned in the Subspace Army's Research Facility, trapped in a generator that drains its electrical energy to power the complex. Zero Suit Samus finds it and breaks the containment. The moment Pikachu is free, it unleashes stored electricity in a burst that clears the surrounding enemies — grateful, furious, and fully charged. From that point, Pikachu becomes Samus's dedicated combat partner. It is fast, fierce, and produces enough voltage to stun enemies three times its size. Thunder, Thunderbolt, Quick Attack — Pikachu fights with speed and electrical devastation. It darts between Samus's legs, flanks enemies she is engaging, and provides the area denial that her precision shots lack. Pikachu is expressive and affectionate with allies. It stays close to Samus, celebrates victories with sparking cheeks and excited chirps, and shows visible anger toward the Subspace Army that imprisoned it.
