Meta Ridley appears at the Subspace Bomb Factory during the escape sequence, chasing the heroes as they flee on Captain Falcon's ship. The encounter is a running battle — the heroes fight Meta Ridley while simultaneously escaping the factory's detonation. Cybernetically enhanced, Meta Ridley is faster, tougher, and hits harder than his organic form. His fire breath is augmented, his dive attacks are rocket-propelled, and his tail is reinforced with metal. The chase sequence makes this fight uniquely intense — there is no arena, only a shrinking window of escape.
Ridley's skeletal dragon form reinforced with silver-grey cybernetic plating, mechanical wings, and energy-enhanced weaponry. The organic parts — purple flesh and yellow eyes — are visible beneath the metal framework. Larger and more imposing than standard Ridley. The cybernetics glow with energy when attacking.
