Lucario meditates at the summit of the Glacial Peak, sensing the world's disruption through aura. When Meta Knight and the Ice Climbers reach the top, Lucario does not greet them — he challenges Meta Knight to single combat. This is not hostility. It is assessment. Lucario reads aura — the life energy of all beings — and needs to confirm that Meta Knight's intentions are aligned before fighting alongside him. The duel is brief and respectful. When it ends, Lucario uncrosses his arms and nods. Alliance accepted. From this point, Lucario travels with Meta Knight and later Snake aboard the Halberd, fighting with focused precision. Lucario fights with aura-infused palm strikes, energy spheres, and a counter stance that absorbs damage and redirects it. His power increases as he takes damage — the more wounded he is, the stronger his aura burns. He is calm, disciplined, and reads opponents before they move.
