Ivysaur is the Pokémon Trainer's balanced option. Its vine whips provide medium range, its Razor Leaf sprays projectiles, and its Bullet Seed creates vertical pressure. It is neither the fastest nor the strongest of the three, but it is the most versatile — effective against most enemy types without being dominant against any. The second Pokémon captured during the Subspace journey, Ivysaur represents the Trainer's growing confidence. By this point, the Trainer and Lucas are working as an effective team, and Ivysaur's crowd-control abilities complement Lucas's PSI attacks well.

Appearance

A quadruped blue-green reptile with a large pink flower bud growing from its back. Darker spots pattern its hide. Thick legs support a stocky body. Vines extend from the base of the bud, serving as both weapons and grappling tools. Medium-sized — larger than Squirtle, smaller than Charizard.
