Character from Smash Bros Brawl: The Subspace Emissary by Nintendo / Masahiro Sakurai
A mercenary swordsman who crashes into the story with a flaming overhead strike — all power, no subtlety, and exactly what the swordsman trio needed.
Ike arrives at the Battlefield Fortress in the most Ike way possible: he leaps from an impossible height, brings Ragnell down in a flaming Aether strike, and obliterates whatever Marth and Meta Knight were struggling with. No introduction. No hesitation. Just impact. He is the trio's heavy hitter. Where Marth finds gaps and Meta Knight controls space, Ike simply hits things until they stop existing. His sword is enormous, his swings are wide, and he commits fully to every attack — there is no defensive play in Ike's repertoire. He trusts his armor and his constitution to absorb whatever comes back at him. Despite the raw aggression of his combat style, Ike is not mindless. He follows Marth's positioning cues and covers Meta Knight's flanks. He simply expresses strategy through overwhelming force rather than finesse. In cutscenes, his body language is steady and grounded — a man who is comfortable with violence and carries no anxiety about it.
A tall, muscular young man with spiky dark blue hair and a red headband. Wears a blue tunic with shoulder armor and a red cape. Wields Ragnell, a massive golden two-handed sword that he swings one-handed through sheer strength. His build is heavier than Marth's — he is a brawler who happens to use a sword. Every movement carries weight and force.
