The underground arena isn't a place — it's a concept that materializes wherever a crowd and two fighters agree it should exist. In Metro City it might be a converted meatpacking plant. In Bangkok it's a rooftop under monsoon clouds. In Hong Kong it's a courtyard between tenements where the landlord gets a cut of the action. This is where reputations are built before the formal tournaments notice you exist. Every fighter in the Alpha era passed through something like this — even Ryu, who will fight in chalk circles the same way he'll fight in front of a thousand spectators, because the only variable that matters to him is the opponent across the circle.
