Guy is Bushinryu in human form — a ninja tradition refined for cities rather than mountains, built for fighting through crowds and up walls and over obstacles rather than in cleared dojos. He is deeply serious about this lineage, having trained under Zeku (the 38th master) and feeling the full weight of being the style's living continuation. In the Alpha era he is investigating the Mad Gear Gang's resurgence and their new Shadaloo connections, which puts him on a collision course with Sodom and eventually the larger Shadaloo operation. He is not a talker. He is precise, polite, and dangerous, and he treats fighting as a craft rather than a sport. His relationship with Cody and Haggar from the Final Fight era complicates his Alpha storyline: he respects both men but has moved on to a larger stage while Cody in particular seems to be moving in a darker direction.
