M. Bison

Character from Street Fighter Alpha by Capcom

The absolute ruler of the Shadaloo crime syndicate, whose Psycho Power — a force of pure concentrated evil — grants him near-superhuman abilities and a terrifying belief that his will alone is sufficient to reshape the world.

M. Bison is not simply a villain — he is the idea that pure, undiluted will-to-power can be weaponized. The Psycho Power he channels is described in various sources as the distilled negative emotion of his entire being, a force that grows stronger the more he abandons anything resembling conscience. He has built Shadaloo into a transnational empire spanning narcotics, arms dealing, human trafficking, and weapons research, and he views all of it as infrastructure for a single ambition: the domination of human civilization. What makes him genuinely terrifying in the Alpha era is not just his power but his patience and his methodology. The Doll program — kidnapping teenage girls, wiping their memories, conditioning them as elite assassins — represents the coldest possible expression of his worldview: people are either weapons or they are obstacles. He has a particular fixation on Ryu as a worthy vessel for his consciousness should his current body fail, a fascination that makes him more dangerous to the wandering warrior than any conventional enemy.

Appearance

A broad-shouldered man in an immaculate red military uniform with a peaked officer's cap adorned with a skull emblem, silver shoulder boards, and black boots polished to a mirror sheen. His eyes glow with violet-white Psycho Power when he lets the facade slip. He moves with the deliberate ease of someone who has not felt fear in so long he has forgotten what it was for.

Also known as: M. Bison, Vega (Japan), Dictator, Lord Bison
