Mobiles are the Reckoners' primary communication system and one of Knighthawk's most successful products. He sells them to Reckoner cells, Epic organizations, and anyone else who needs reliable comms in a world where phone networks no longer exist. The catch: every mobile has a backdoor. Knighthawk can read any message sent on the network, track any device's location, and potentially inject false communications. He uses this intelligence selectively and for profit. The Reckoners know about the backdoor (eventually) and account for it.

Appearance

Handheld communication devices — the post-Calamity equivalent of cell phones. Manufactured and distributed by Knighthawk Foundry. They work reliably across long distances, which is remarkable in a world where most infrastructure has been destroyed by Epics.
