Tia is the person who makes the Reckoners functional. While Prof leads and David obsesses and Abraham shoots, Tia plans. She researches Epics, maps escape routes, coordinates operations in real time, and maintains the institutional knowledge that keeps the team alive. She is methodical, brilliant, and indispensable. She's also the person who knows Prof most intimately — they were romantic partners, and she understands the weight he carries even if she doesn't know the full truth about his powers. When Prof succumbs to the Darkness, Tia is the one who tries hardest to reach him. She fails. He kills her. Her death in Calamity is one of the series' most devastating moments because she was right about everything except the thing that mattered most: she believed love could pull Prof back. It couldn't. The Darkness doesn't care about love.
