A cloning Epic who attacked Newcago after Steelheart's fall — and the only Epic whose weakness can kill him all by itself.
Mitosis can split into multiple independent clones that share information instantly. He attacks Newcago between books 1 and 2, in the power vacuum after Steelheart's death. His backstory is tragicomic: he was a classically trained musician frustrated by his band 'Weaponized Cupcake's simplistic playing. His weakness is the music of Weaponized Cupcake. Not just any music — specifically his own former band's songs. The music literally kills his clones. He's the only Epic whose weakness is directly lethal rather than power-negating. David defeats him by playing the band's music throughout Newcago.
Unremarkable when singular. When he splits, the clones are identical — each an independent consciousness. The clones destabilize each other's molecular structure at close range, which limits how many he can create without them dissolving.
