Fortuity is the Reckoners' early target in Steelheart — an Epic with both short-term and long-term precognition plus enhanced reflexes. He can see attacks coming and dodge them before they arrive. He's an early-game boss, essentially. His weakness: his precognition fails when he's attracted to someone. Megan exploits this by approaching him as bait — while he's distracted by her, the Reckoners move in. It's the team's first on-page operation and demonstrates their core strategy: find the weakness, exploit the weakness, kill the Epic.
Flashy dresser, carries himself with the arrogance of someone who always knows what's coming. His confidence is absolute because his precognition usually makes it justified.
