Valentine's Train

Location from Steel Ball Run by Hirohiko Araki

The President's mobile command center — a luxury railcar from which Funny Valentine orchestrates the corpse hunt, manages his agents, and travels alongside the race like a spider following its web.

Valentine's train is where the conspiracy is managed. Agent reports come in. Orders go out. The map of corpse part locations is updated in real time. It is the nerve center of a covert operation disguised as a sporting event, and it travels on rails alongside the racers who don't know they're pawns. The train is also a defensive position — Valentine can use D4C more easily in the enclosed spaces, pressing himself between the floor and a table to slip between dimensions. The confined corridors favor his fighting style. Several key confrontations occur on or near the train, where the luxury interior becomes a battlefield and the rattling of wheels on tracks provides rhythm to the violence. Lucy Steel boards this train as part of her infiltration. The servants' quarters are where she operates, stealing corpse parts and passing intelligence while surrounded by the most dangerous people in America.

Appearance

An opulent presidential rail car decorated in dark wood, brass fittings, and American flag motifs. The interior is a mobile office — maps of the race route pinned to walls, agent reports stacked on desks, and the kind of heavy furniture that says 'I am the President and this train is sovereign territory.' The windows are curtained. Guards patrol the corridors. The train runs parallel to the race route on whatever rail lines are available, keeping Valentine close to the action while maintaining presidential comfort and security.
