Scary Monsters is one of the most practically devastating Stands in the race because it's not just a weapon — it's an entire toolkit. Diego can scout in dinosaur form with enhanced senses. He can create a dinosaur army from local wildlife. He can partially transform to gain claws and durability while keeping human intelligence and manual dexterity. He can infect other racers' horses, turning mounts into enemies. The ability was originally Dr. Ferdinand's before Diego inherited and perfected it. Where Ferdinand used it clumsily, Diego applies it with a genius's precision — transforming exactly the right things at exactly the right moment. A raptor that can think like a chess grandmaster is terrifying. A raptor that can also ride a horse and shoot a pistol is Diego Brando.
Unlike most Stands, Scary Monsters doesn't manifest as a separate entity — it transforms Diego himself. His features become reptilian: scales spread across his skin, his pupils slit vertically, his teeth elongate into fangs. Full transformation turns him into a raptor-like dinosaur — bipedal, fast, intelligent, with razor claws and a predator's focus. He can also transform other creatures partially or fully, creating a pack of dinosaurs under his control.
