He entered the race because a fortune teller told him he'd experience incredible luck for two months, and his response was essentially 'sounds good, let's do a horse race.' His Stand Hey Ya! doesn't actually grant luck — it's a cheerful spirit that sits behind him on his horse and shouts encouragement and precognitive advice. 'Go left!' 'Duck!' 'You're doing great!' It's unclear whether Hey Ya! can see the future or simply has an incredibly positive attitude about it. Either way, Pocoloco sails through death traps, Stand battles, and desert wastelands with the baffled serenity of a man who keeps finding money on the ground. He serves as comic relief with genuine thematic weight — in a story about people who fight fate tooth and nail, Pocoloco asks: what if you just let it carry you?
