Tide Pool Beach

Location from Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone)

A rocky stretch of coast south of the main beach — where tidal pools reveal creatures, and the fishing is different from anywhere else.

The tide pools area is a secondary beach zone with unique fishing opportunities and foraging. It's also where the Old Mariner appears on rainy days — a ghostly figure who sells the Mermaid's Pendant, the item needed to propose marriage. It's a small, atmospheric location that serves a critical narrative purpose: the place where the farmer commits to forever.

Appearance

Rocky coastline with shallow pools left by the retreating tide. Sea creatures visible in the clear water. More rugged than the main beach — fewer sand, more stone. The old mariner appears here on rainy days to sell the Mermaid's Pendant.
