Location from Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone)
The valley's northern boundary — a train track, a spa, and a boulder that hides something the Wizard needs.
The Railroad becomes accessible after the earthquake in Summer of Year 1 clears the path. Trains pass through randomly, sometimes dropping valuable items. The spa is accessed from here, and the path to the Witch's Swamp is eventually opened through a questline involving the Wizard. It's the game's literal edge — beyond the tracks is nothing the farmer can reach. The trains are a reminder of the outside world passing through without stopping.
A long stretch of train tracks running east-west through a narrow mountain pass. A boulder blocks a path to the Witch's Swamp until a quest removes it. Trains occasionally pass through, leaving behind random items on the ground. The area feels remote and transitional.
