The Mountain

Location from Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone)

The highlands north of town — home to the carpenter's shop, the mine entrance, a pristine lake, and Sebastian's favorite brooding spot.

The mountain area is the valley's rugged north — where the comfortable town gives way to rock, water, and the mine's darkness. It's where Robin builds, where Linus camps, where Sebastian smokes by the lake at night, and where the mines begin. The lake is one of the game's best fishing spots, and the frozen winter version hosts a festival. It's the transition zone between civilization and the underground, between comfort and challenge.

Appearance

Rocky terrain with sparse trees and a clear mountain lake. The carpenter's shop sits at the base. The mine entrance is carved into the mountainside to the east. The Adventurer's Guild is nearby. Linus's tent is pitched on a grassy ledge. The lake is clear and deep, good for fishing. In winter, it freezes over for the Festival of Ice.
