JojaMart

Location from Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone)

Pelican Town's big-box store — fluorescent lights, blue uniforms, and a membership card that could define the valley's future.

JojaMart is the physical presence of corporate expansion in Pelican Town. It undercuts Pierre's prices, offers a membership that provides an alternative to the Community Center bundles, and represents everything the farmer left the city to escape. If the farmer buys a Joja membership, the Community Center route closes. Upgrades happen through money instead of effort. The Junimos leave. Morris smiles. It's not wrong, exactly — just empty. The game lets you choose it and live with what that means.

Appearance

A large, boxy store with the blue-and-white Joja Corporation branding. Fluorescent lighting inside, wide aisles of mass-produced goods, a sterile corporate feel completely at odds with the rest of town. Morris stands near the entrance with membership forms. Shane stocks shelves in the back looking miserable. It's clean and functional and soulless.

Also known as: JojaMart, Joja, the Joja store
