Stardrop

Item from Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone)

A rare, star-shaped fruit that permanently increases the farmer's maximum energy — the game's most meaningful power-up, earned through mastery and connection.

Stardrops are Stardew Valley's ultimate reward — each one permanently increases maximum energy by 34 points. There are seven total, and they're earned through diverse achievements: winning the fair, fishing mastery, mine completion, museum completion, spouse gifts, Secret Woods discovery, and Qi's challenges. The Stardrop's genius is its distribution. You can't farm them or buy them in bulk. Each one comes from a different mastery — the game rewards you for engaging with everything it offers, not just optimizing one thing. The message about your favorite thing when you eat one is a tiny moment of personalized emotion in a game full of them.

Appearance

A small, glowing, star-shaped fruit that radiates warmth. It pulses with a soft light — purple, gold, or white depending on context. Eating it triggers a moment of pure contentment and a message about the farmer's favorite thing (entered at game start).

Also known as: Stardrop, stardrops
