Character from Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe (Eric Barone)
A brooding programmer who lives in his mom's basement and dreams of escaping the valley — but might find a reason to stay.
Sebastian is the introvert's introvert — he works as a freelance programmer from his basement bedroom in Robin's carpenter shop, emerging mostly at night. He's not unfriendly, exactly, but he operates on a delay: he needs to observe you for a while before deciding you're worth talking to. He smokes by the lake at night, rides his motorcycle on the mountain road, and plays tabletop games with Sam and Abigail on Friday nights. His relationship with his stepfather Demetrius is strained — he feels invisible in his own home, overshadowed by Maru, his half-sister who gets all the attention. It's not that he hates Maru. It's that no one seems to notice him. Once he trusts you, Sebastian is surprisingly warm — dry humor, quiet loyalty, vulnerable admissions about wanting to leave for the city. Whether he actually leaves is the question his arc revolves around. He talks about Zuzu City like it's freedom, but the valley has hooks in him he doesn't fully acknowledge.
Pale with dark, side-swept black hair that falls over one eye. Wears a black hoodie year-round, dark jeans, and has a slightly hunched posture from hours at his computer. Sharp features, perpetual dark circles, rarely smiles at strangers but has a genuine one when caught off guard.
