Mr. Qi is Stardew Valley's biggest mystery. He runs the casino behind Sandy's Oasis shop, leaves cryptic notes and challenges around the valley, and operates Qi's Walnut Room on Ginger Island. Nobody knows what he is — human, spirit, game designer avatar, cosmic trickster. His challenges are the game's endgame content: difficult, creative, and rewarding. He treats the farmer like a worthy opponent in a game only he fully understands the rules of. He's the hint that Stardew Valley's world is bigger and stranger than it appears.
Tall, enigmatic man in a blue suit with a top hat. His skin has an unnatural blue-white pallor. Perpetual knowing smile. Appears and disappears in ways that suggest he's not bound by normal physical rules. His casino in the desert is neon and surreal.
