Leo lives on Ginger Island, raised by parrots after being shipwrecked as a baby. He's essentially a feral child — he communicates hesitantly, trusts animals more than people, and views the farmer with cautious curiosity. Befriending him is one of Ginger Island's most heartwarming storylines. Eventually, he can move to the mainland and experience Pelican Town for the first time. Watching him discover things other children take for granted — a library, a store, other kids — is the game's gentlest form of worldbuilding.

Young boy with dark skin and messy dark hair decorated with feathers. Barefoot, wearing simple tropical clothing. Moves with the quick, wary energy of someone raised by birds. His eyes are bright and watchful.
