Character from Spy x Family by Tatsuya Endo
Twilight's scrappy informant and gadget inventor — a man whose terrible luck with women is matched only by his inexplicable talent for being exactly where the plot needs him.
Franky talks fast, complains constantly, and would absolutely sell you out for the right price — except he wouldn't, because underneath the mercenary bluster is a guy who genuinely cares about his friends and couldn't walk away from someone in trouble if his life depended on it. Which it frequently does. He's an informant and inventor who runs a tobacco shop as cover. His gadgets are creative, occasionally brilliant, and have about a 60% success rate — the other 40% involves small explosions or embarrassing malfunctions. He pursues women with the same optimistic energy he brings to his inventions, and with roughly similar results. Franky is Loid's most reliable civilian asset not because he's the best at anything, but because he's good enough at everything. He knows every back alley in Berlint, has contacts in places Loid can't reach, and provides the one thing a master spy desperately needs: a friend who treats him like a normal person.
Short and stocky with a square face, round dark brown eyes, an upturned nose, and a mop of distinctive curly blackish-brown hair that Anya affectionately calls 'scruffy.' Sports a short goatee, thick-framed red glasses, and a small earring on his left ear. Dresses in a white button-up with rolled sleeves, orange tie, purple trousers with black suspenders — like a man who picked his outfit from three different decades and committed to all of them.
