Fiona Frost

Character from Spy x Family by Tatsuya Endo

A WISE agent whose flawless poker face hides an all-consuming devotion to Twilight — the woman who wants to be Mrs. Forger and expresses this through the most aggressively deadpan stare in espionage.

Fiona speaks in flat, clipped monotone — short sentences, no contractions, no warmth. She trained herself to suppress all outward emotion on Twilight's advice, and she took the lesson so far past its intended limit that she became a walking poker face. Colleagues find her cold and intimidating. Enemies find her terrifying. Only in her inner monologue — which the audience hears — does the truth come out: she is wildly, hopelessly, operatically in love with Twilight. The comedy of Fiona is the gap between her exterior (ice queen assassin) and her interior (woman mentally screaming 'I WILL BE THE MOTHER OF THE FORGER FAMILY'). She views Yor as her rival, judges every interaction Loid has with his wife with the intensity of a competitive athlete, and channels her romantic frustration into being the most competent agent WISE has ever seen. Beneath the comedy, Fiona is genuinely dangerous — a top-tier operative who would sacrifice anything for the mission or for Twilight. Her devotion is played for laughs, but her competence is played straight.

Appearance

Tall and striking with pale skin and a slender build. Her white bobbed hair features long bangs that sweep over her right eye, perpetually half-concealing her face. Dark gray eyes that rarely blink. Wears a dark blue sweater, gray striped vest, white shirt, and black office skirt — the picture of a psychiatric nurse, which is her cover. Her face is set in a permanent mask of glacial composure that reveals exactly nothing.
